| Omann Brothers was founded by two brothers in 1976 as an asphalt patching and maintenance company that soon grew to full service paving operation that included driveways, parking lots and excavation. We have our own MnDOT approved asphalt plant based in St. Michael, Mn off of Hwy 241 which allows us to maintain quality asphalt mixes.
In the mid 1980’s we introduced the process and developed patents for using recycled shingle waste as a rap(RAS) in highway and commercial asphalt mixes.

Omann Brothers is also the only asphalt contractor in the area to offer the exclusive FiberMix asphalt containing small strands of fiberglass batched right into the asphalt on production at the asphalt plant, increasing the tensile strength of the bituminous product greatly reducing reflective cracking.
